Supermarket shelves are full of oily skin treatment products, and as you've no doubt already noticed, the packaging, along with the adverts, are very convincing, so it's hardly surprising there are literally millions of people buying these products every day.
Countless people suffer from oily skin, and when asked, it seems most believe it has something to do with genetics. I'm certainly not saying genetics cannot be responsible for some people having oily skin, since I'm not qualified to make such sweeping statements. What I am saying though, is that in the vast majority of cases, genetics has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Diet is without a doubt one of the primary causes. This is in fact something you can prove to yourself, and you can do so without having to worry about your health because the trial only needs to last a week to ten days. Try eating mostly fried foods; sugary foods, and various processed foods for a week, and you'll notice how your skin responds.
This is something I've tried myself once before, so I can assure you you'll have oily skin with ten day at the most. People who live of this type of diet each and every day of their lives will never manage to rid themselves of oily skin, no matter what treatment they decide to use. They can use the strongest possible treatment, or perhaps the most expensive treatment, but their skin will still be oily.
