Stretch Mark Causes Are Reveal
Stretch marks are thin, linear scars that develop in males and females after rapid growth or rapid weight gain.
Stretch marks, known officially as striae gravidarum, occur during pregnancy due to the slow but steady stretching of the skin's elastin fibers. Stretch marks, are characterized by thick or thin linear bands or streaks that may present on the abdomen, buttocks, breasts, thighs or arms.Usually they become noticeable only during the third trimester, though some pregnant women notice them almost right away.
When they first develop they may appear pink, red or purple in color. Darkly pigmented women will notice the stretch mark gradually fade to a lighter and lighter shade, while white women of various ethnicities will notice a pinkish line indicating the beginning of a stretch mark. After childbirth, the skin where a stretch mark has formed will never fully recover to its original appearance; instead, it will always remain somewhat thinned out and noticeable-almost like a scar. It's estimated that almost 90 percent of pregnant women will have stretch marks. Males commonly develop stretch marks on their shoulders, arms, back, abdomen, and thighs.
