How To Get Rid Of Pimples And Other Signs Of Acne For Good To Regain Your Clear Skin And Confidence

We all want to feel confident and comfortable about our appearance but this can be challenging when we are affected by the disturbing skin condition acne. Acne is manifested as pimples, black heads, white heads and spots mainly on the face, neck, shoulders, chest and back. People who are affected by acne may suffer from low self esteem, depression, worry and anxiety which may prevent them from being outgoing and having a happy social life.

The stress from having acne may worsen when many different treatments are tried in hopes of curing the condition but to no avail. It may also be frustrating when the symptoms of acne keeps reoccurring soon after they had successfully cleared up. This is the reason acne sufferers need to fully understand the nature of acne and what really needs to be done in order to fully control and eliminate its rooted cause and related symptoms for good.

Acne is caused by a number of different reasons. During puberty, in both males and females, an increase in hormones called androgens cause the sebaceous glands to enlarge, thereby producing more sebum. Additionally, hormonal changes due to pregnancy can also cause this skin disorder. Genetics also seem to play a role in the formation, meaning the tendency to develop it can stem from whether your parents had it or not. There are many medications and over the counter products designed to control acne but not actually cure it. Some of these products may be effective in clearing up the symptoms of acne such as the pimples, white heads and black heads and give the acne sufferer a relief for a while but not permanently. Other products may not work at all and others may result in unpleasant side effects. The fact is there is no medication or over the counter product that can cure acne for good. Medications such as Adapalene, Tetracycline and Minocycline may be prescribed by a dermatologist for controlling acne but their use is commonly known to cause serious side effects.
