General and alternate ways for a healthy skin

Skin is the largest organ of the integumentary system. Skin is formed by the multilayered ectodermal tissues. Skin plays an important role in protecting the internal organs and against the pathogens. It also acts as organ for insulation, temperature regulation and sensation.

Better your digestion, better your skin appears. So in order to improve digestion, few things are required to be considered.

Water is the basic substance and primary agent required for the functioning of human body. For proper digestion, adequate quantity of water intake is necessary. Water helps in flow of nutrients to the vital organs. Intake of water is must, so try to drink one-four glasses of water, the moment you wake up. Prior to breakfast, lunch and dinner drink one-two glasses of water before half an hour of your meal. Try to avoid water while eating.  Finally, make it a habit of drinking water continuously during day.

Dietary fiber or roughage is another component required for a healthy skin. Consumption of fiber produces compounds after the fermentation of soluble fiber and insoluble fibers ability to produce bulk, tender the stool and making its less stay in the intestinal tract. Plant parts like, skin, pulp, stem, seeds, leaves, roots etc all contain both the fibers. It is of two types:
