Perhaps the biggest step towards understanding the secret to good skin is to understand the importance of cleansing, toning and moisturizing, and these three steps are just as effective as any moisturizer that you buy.
1. Cleansing
A natural cleanser made from water and oil should be used, and you should avoid products containing additives such as detergents or artificial fragrances, which can irritate sensitive skin. Wet your face with the cleanser, then massage in some castor oil to remove any grime and dirt, followed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
2. Toning
This should be done with a toner and cotton wool, although you can also use a flower water, which will help to prevent spots and rashes due to their antibacterial properties. Witch hazel, rose water and orange flower water are all good, and can all help to tone by closing the pores.
