Waxing: An Important Method of Beauty Therapy

Waxing, a temporary hair removal method, considered as semi-permanent hair removal method, involves removing of hair from the root. It takes two to eight weeks to grow back new hair on the waxed area. As hair comes back within few weeks, it is called a temporary solution for hair removal. It can be done on different hair bearing area of the body like eyebrows, arms, face, bikini area, abdomen, thighs, legs, back and feet.  There are various types of waxing suitable for removing unwanted hair from different parts of the body.

Waxing is not a painful process. It is conducted by spreading a very thin layer of wax on the required area and then a cloth or paper strip is pressed on the top and ripped off the wax from the skin along with the hair with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth. Consequently, hair is removed with the wax.
